Hey guys! Gosh, it's been a while.

I'm 20 now! I turned 20 twelve- wow! Twelve days ago! It's been that long? I planned on finishing up this one picture and posting it before I updated my journal, but you can see that didn't happen.
I've been reading a whole lot! Like, boat loads. Two books a day. Granted, they're young adult books, but those are the best kind (although 'Interview with the Vampire' wasn't young adult. I've basically been making up for not having read all year. Of course it's because my legs are at the point of atrophy from all my not moving that I've remembered why I never read. Plots tend to completely absorb me and take priority over absolutely everything.
I've also got sucked into anoter facebook application as well as some random manga that I wish I didn't care about.
I've basically come to the end of my reading list now, however, so I'll be able to start drawing again and have my legs suffer from atrophy from that. I have a bunch of ideas (which isn't helpful) as well as some new little comics I'm coming up with in my ever constant pursuit of humor.

Since I've been gone I've gone to Salem, MA and picked up some witchy books...
I've got these drapes in my room over my bed and my little sister said it reminded her of a temple so now I'm determined to complete that vision. I might throw together one of those room memes when I'm done so I have an excuse to show it to y'alls (though knowing me this room will never be exactly how I want it)
I'm baby-sitting my niece who is a treasure, but since I watch her for the better part of the day three days a week so that breaks my week up so I haven't had as much time to do stuff as I usually would over the summer, but that's good 'cause I'm learning to deal with my time... kinda... not really...

Oh, yes! Did I tell you guys I went to Anime Boston all those weeks ago. I got home from school and then spent the next week making roughly two costumes each for my parents and three of my siblings. They're modern spins, as usually, but I like 'em. Mary Ann was Malon + Midna, Chris was Link, Tony was Ganondorf, I was Zelda + Sheik, Dad was Link again and mom was big Midna. It wasn't bad for 5 days work and the last day i didn't do anything because I was reading... I managed to read 3 books that week as well as make ten costumes... not bad...
There are barely any pictures. I didn't really like them enough to take pictures 'cause I'm lame like that. I met the voice of Ash Ketchem from Pokemon. She's like a 40 year old woman. Very nice. Quite pretty. I flipped out! I didn't meet the voice of Chrono, though. Greg Aryres was in the building. I think I would've had a heart attack if I heard the cute + adorable voice of Chrono come out of a not Chrono like dude. I want to voice act! I'd be so good at it!

uhhh.... yes.... my cat it slowly becoming more affectionate after 3 1/2 years of bolting around our house.
I'm gong to North Carolina this week end to visit my collage roommate as well as go see Riverdance. It sounds epic.
I'm going to a comic drawing workshop in August. More on that when it happens. I'm either gonna draw this thing for my sister, but if I've already done that by the time the workshop happens, I'll be doing 'Sir Gawain and the Green Knight' because SOMEONE HAS TO DO IT! You've already seen my teaser picture. I kinda really want to do it now so I'm hoping to get my sister's thing done in time.
I've been planning up a lot of comic things recently which is very exciting for me. I signed up for this one tournament thing that I just totally missed the deadline for but I'm going to do it anyway because I still think it'd be cool. I've been practicing drawing my Vega Experiments a lot because I plan on draw those comics out by hand because it's faster and cleaner for me at the moment then if I struggle with the computer. I was going to use them in another tourny, but I think I've just missed that one completely although I was REALLY looking forward to it. Who knows what will happen there or if I ever find that tourny again...

Oh! and I've been commanded to write a book not only by my siblings, but by my mother so I have to write a book this summer.

So... Okay... I think that's all the highlights of my summer so far... I'm going to go back to drawing and reading and baby-sitting and writing and cleaning now...
