It was then that I realized
It wasn't the mirror that was broken-
-------------------------------------------------------
Hello there. I actually drew this a little while back during my emo stage (so about when I drew all those copic drawings) :runs to look up the date: January 27th is when I drew this, so about 6 months ago. I didn't look right when I tried to color it with copic markers so I did it on the computer.
I almost didn't bother since it looks so strange and it out of proportion, but I kinda liked the caption and I thought it'd be a worthwhile opportunity to try messing with lighting. It's backlit! I've never done that before. Technically I should've doubled up on the shadows and some of the highlights, but I didn't bother.
I don't think the 'break' is obvious enough, either. :sigh: the sketch looked so much better.
I actually kinda like the eyes, in spite of myself. I colored them and then realized it needed some kind of highlight. The dot highlight looked stupid so I started looking for a nice brushh to use instead and I found a grass brush that I forgot I had. It made kinda a cool effect, if I do say so myself ^^
so, yes... critique if you want, but I already know what's wrong with it. Critique on the shadows and my use of them would be nice since that's what I want to improve
^^ well, I suppose it's suppose to be a little scary. I'd be a little freaked out if I realised that
¬_¬ I see the mistakes, but if you can't see them, I won't point them out

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
