Hi there. Group pictures are annoying. I had actually adjusted the heights already and was doing the lame high coloring with my 12 colors when I realized I had forgotten someone: Kinkawa Ginta, grandson of the school's founder, son of the headmaster. He's probably the same height as Fujimi.
These are the characters from my new story (actually, it's not that new, but this is the first time I've done anything with them). I've basically taken every stereotypical highschool drama/comedy/romance character and put them in one class, and then I threw in an American Exchange student to mock them all and shatter their worlds! Aha! Jackson's amazing. You can't see her necklace in this picture, but it's a blue rose and she never takes it off, which is how she got the nick name 'blue rose' or Aiobara, if you prefere.
Since this is the first time you've seen them, I shall explain them a bit. Chikara Nazo - 4'10" - a year younger than all the others. Is a genious with any sort of puzzle. His dream is to become an Hanoi monk, but his parents wouldn't allow it so he pretends to be a normal teenage until he turns 18. Ôniwa Hanaki - 4'11" - 1/2 chinese, daughter of a famous kimono shop, she shows up to class everyday with a new exotic costume and hair style and cries apologetically everyday when the teacher gets mad at her for not wearing her uniform. Kirameku Kodo, Bito, and Utsu - 5'1" - triplet pop idols of the group 'The Twinkles', all cute, all energy, all the time. They find new, creative ways to fight off fans and paparatzi everyday. Shinkiru Karasu - 5'3" - Dark and highly in tune to the spirit world, she is known to impulsively try to stab herself with pencils so she now has to sit next to someone with the reflexes to stop her. Kiseki always calms her down afterwards. Mehitsugi Kiseki - 5'5" - a beautiful and delicate girl with very fragile health. She's ungodly sweet and kind to everyone. Habataki Yumeko - 5'5" - The very loud, commanding girl who heads all the fan clubs for all the amazing male members of her class and is extremely protective of them. Idotani Mokin - 5'6" - The smart and quiet pretty boy. He looks sweet on the outside, but is fairly cold to lesser life forms that think they're better than him. Ori Daisuke - 5'7" - The really kind, humble gentleman of the class that's also an amazing martial artist with incredibly reflexes. "Aiobara" Jackson - 5'8" - American exchange student, bold, manupulative, compassionate, and very possibly bipolar (real first name unknown). She's replacing the wealthy Ryoko Tori who is currently traveling the world. Tsutahara Fujimi - 5'9" - the one normalish kid in the class. He gets mocked for it so he's determined to make something of himself. Nemoto Soon - 5'9" - red-headed, wealthy son of a prosperous business man, Soon's the perverted one that will harass the ladies, but they make sure he gets severely punished each and every time. He's commonly seen with bruises and bandages. Kazan Takibi - 5'10" - The in-your-face, arrogant, fun-loving leader of a street gang. A powerful bad boy fighter who never wears his uniform, comes to school when he feels like it, loves to tease people and acts very firmiliar with anyone who isn't scared of him. Toranaga Kodaimaru - 5'11" - the grandson of a great samurai lord daimo, he's rich, noble, and honorable with a massive ego. He's got long white hair, a deep voice, and always carries around a wooden sword. He has to stopped from committing seppuku at least once a week when he says something incorrect. HE CANNOT LIVE WITH THE SHAME! Yamashita Inabakiri - 6'1" - The ungodly smart, calculating one. No one's ever quite sure what he's planning, but they all know he's planning something. The rumor is: if he loses his braid, he loses his power. Kokushi Katsu (Katz) - 6'2" - The intimidating, ultra respected tennis captain. He also has amazing reflexes. He has great concern for the well-being of his peers and is always willing to assist if asked. He doesn't talk much other wise, but when he does, everyone shuts up. Mehitsugi Shiki - 6'4" - a year older than everyone else because he stayed back a year so that he could be in the same class as his delicate little sister, Kiseki, who he's super protective of. He's the ace soccer player though he decline from being captain. He, too, has amazing reflexes.
okay. Phew! I think that's everyone. Oh, besides Hakugekiho-san, the crazy/strict gym teacher, and Aki-san, the pleasent forgetful old man who cleans the school.
Those are the uniforms on the side. I wanted the boy's and the girl's uniform to look similar. They're white and they indulge my love of seams. All the seams are covered with a stripe of blue/green ish. The boys' jacket has slits so they can use their really deep pockets. Wore properly, their pants go up to their waist, like suit pants in the 20s, there for, they have really deep pockets. Girls' have skirts. The girls' jackets are pleated on the side. The collars on both jackets can be unclasped and folded down. The boys' collar is a bit higher than the girls'. Both uniforms then have adjustable vests and long sleeved shirts that have small collars that can be up of folded. Socks or stockings can be whatever height, but they must either match the uniform colors (white or the blue/green), or be skin tone or black. Same goes for the shoes, those those are the standard loafer style.
Feel free to draw them all! They're all good people. I hope to draw them again someday... ya know... when I figure out how to draw group pictures.... I'm not particularlly fond of anything about any of them except their personality. If you can think of a better name or a better hair-style, please tell me ^^
I'm glad you like 'em. I want to draw them seriously one day. Having the heights right will do for now. I'm so bad with them. I've tried to many styles that when I actually draw people I bleed between styles which distorts different people differently.

~ good friends are like stars - you don't always see them, but you know they're always there ~ *pace ex* ~me~
^^ well, I just wanted to set heights 'cause I stick at heights. I had to resize a lot of them, even then. I have something to work off of now!
I like their outfits too! Pleats are awesome!

¬_¬ I suppose it's a good piece of art... I don't particularly like it....
Ya have to be careful with plaid it works with pants and short skirts. Not much with much else...

^^ Awww come on, anyone who knows the trials of a group picture can appreciate this.
So true. Ooh and plaid works on ribbons and ties XD. It's best as an accent and not a main feature.
Perhaps if I had actually had an idea for any of their hair styles or facial structures when I was drawing this, then perhaps I would've liked it a bit better, but I was just making stuff up. I'm so uncreative with my hair *sigh*
Yes, very true. There will have to be a cameo appearance of someone wearing a plaid shirt with white pants and a white tie somewhere...

XD Hair is hard to keep consistently original. Plus its hard to come up with one perfect for each character. Especially when there's so many ! I think you did a great job! I don't notice any repeats (and if there are any, they're hidden well ) Don't give me any ideas XD
