It's been strange, adjusting to the light. It's hard for me to imagine that I use to walk around like this, free of burdens, only a few years before. It has been years, hasn't it, since I'd last had such a long period of peace. I'm not sure what to do with myself. Sora and Kairi have helped, of course. I wouldn't be here right now if it weren't for them. If they weren't there for me, I might've gotten scared and gone back to the darkness. There are times, though, when that darkness, the darkness I'd just escaped from sneaks up on me. When I'm not paying attention, my nightmares catch up with me and I can no longer tell if I'm asleep or if I'm awa-

I should've given myself a bit more time to color, but awell. I really wish the text had bent right. It was being really mean to me. At least I got it to bend a little.

This is for the riku-fanatic-club 'Riku's Diary' contest. I had this idea ages ago and just drew it last night.
Riku was writing in his journal when there's a knock at the door. He gets up to answer it and it's his darkness at the door.

I gave Riku a house 'cause he would have one. One window's showing a nice, happy Destiny Island. The other is showing the destroyed part of it when you fight Ansem in KH1. I messed with Riku's outfit a bit because he's at home now. The pictures on the wall are whatever you think they are, but I kinda tried for Sora, Riku, a paupu fruit, and possible a family picture. I want to draw Riku's parents. I'm sure they'd be pretty people. I mean, Sora's at least got a mom. Why wouldn't Riku have a family too?
